Clear aligner orthodontics is a discreet way to straighten and align teeth without anybody knowing. 3D scans or impressions are made of the teeth and a series of thin plastic trays are fabricated to work in series and improve the position, appearance, and alignment.

Dental implants are the most natural feeling and lifelike replacement for teeth available. A dental implant is a replacement root made out of titanium that can be used to support crowns, bridges, and dentures.  Dental implants can also serve multiple functions as the patient’s needs change.

Dental composite is a natural-looking alternative to silver amalgam. This metal-free restorative option is the material of choice for over 90% of dental restorations. In addition to restoring teeth from cavities, composite bonding can be used to correct minor spacing and other cosmetic concerns.

Conscious sedation is recommended for those with high dental anxiety, gag reflex or severity of the dental procedure. It involves using drugs taken orally the night before and shortly before your procedure. Once a comfortable level of sedation has been achieved, dental work is completed.

Root canal therapy is designed to remove infected and damaged nerve tissue from the inside of the tooth. Removal of the dead nerve tissue is followed by the shaping and cleaning of that space so that it can be adequately sealed, preventing bacteria from entering the inside of the tooth.

Tooth extraction is the complete removal of a tooth from the mouth. Tooth decay, tooth fracture, and tooth abscess are just a few reasons you might benefit from having a tooth extracted. After using a local anesthetic to numb the area, the tooth is removed as atraumatically as possible.

Dentures are a low cost and removable replacement for teeth. Although dentures are not the most comfortable and only function about 20% as well as natural teeth do, they can radically transform the appearance of your smile without significant investment.

Dental crowns are used to protect a tooth when a larger sized filling will not work. Teeth with over 50% of their original structure missing due to wear, cavities or fractures require crowns to help hold the tooth together in one piece and prevent fracture.

A Bridge or Fixed Partial Denture is essentially multiple crowns fused together in order to fill gaps in the teeth. By preparing the teeth adjacent to a missing tooth for crowns, two healthy teeth on either side of a single missing tooth can support what appears and functions like three teeth.

Clear aligner orthodontics is a discreet way to straighten and align teeth without anybody knowing. 3D scans or impressions are made of the teeth and a series of thin plastic trays are fabricated to work in series and improve the position, appearance, and alignment. Average case lengths are 9-12 months, the ability to clean one’s mouth and enjoy the foods you couldn’t with traditional wire and bracket braces are two major selling points.

Root canal therapy is designed to remove infected and damaged nerve tissue from the inside of the tooth. Each tooth has a small hollow space where the nerve lives. When that nerve gets infected by bacteria from a cavity or tooth fracture, its removal is required. Failure to do so often results in a painful toothache and destruction of bone around the root of the tooth. Removal of the dead nerve tissue is followed by the shaping and cleaning of that space so that it can be adequately sealed, preventing bacteria from entering the inside of the tooth and bone around the roots of that tooth in the future. Root canals often also require crowns to be completed in tandem.

Dental crowns are used to protect a tooth when a larger sized filling will not work. Teeth with over 50% of their original structure missing due to wear, cavities or fractures require crowns to help hold the tooth together in one piece and prevent fracture. Cracked teeth, even those without large cavities or existing fillings, may require crowns to splint the broken pieces together similarly to how a ring of metal holds a barrel together.

Dentures are a low cost and removable replacement for teeth. Although dentures are not the most comfortable and only function about 20% as well as natural teeth do, they can radically transform the appearance of your smile without significant investment. Dentures are also a great option to improve upon over time. Dentures, for example, can be connected to dental implants to allow for improved stability in the future if dental implants today are not an option. Dentures are removed each night before bed and reinserted in the morning.
